God doesn’t take note of how many times we fall, but of how many times we get up.

DON’T GIVE UP!

I am in the midst of painting a mural at the moment. I am thoroughly out of practice and after the first layer of paint, i was ready to be done with it! Feelings of fear and inadequacy were racing and those old words ‘I can’t do it’. But I knew I had to carry on and push through the discomfort, to see what could emerge, brush stroke at a time. Four days later, I am really glad i didn’t give up. I am pleased with the mural and more importantly, the process of pushing through the pain and going on a creative journey has been empowering and joyful. 

Is there a situation in your life where you want to give up? Everything in you wants to press the eject button and be out of there right now? It’s just too difficult! Might God be asking you today to not give up? If so, take heart because there is a harvest to be reaped out the other side.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
