I am an overcomer
The declaration that has been most prevalent for me recently has been I am an overcomer! I can't think of when I last had to face so many unknowns and fears in such a short space of time. C sections, catheters and cannulas were all mystery words that held a certain amount of dread, however, I can now say I have experienced them all and more and it wasn't that bad!!
That's the funny thing about fear. Fear about a situation or problem is usually worse than the thing itself. So I can truly say that I am grateful to have been able to bust through a few more unknowns and live ever freer of fear.
Psalm 112:7 says 'the righteous will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD'.
Let it be so of us. That whatever we are facing our hearts can be steadfast in the Lord, keeping us in peace, joy and hope and out of fear.
