Our mugs are all individually hand decorated and therefore, at times, some of the mugs produced have small defects or blemishes in the design (a fuzzy letter, an area of mottling or mark in the glaze) and therefore we grade them as seconds.
The usability of the mugs is not compromised by these minor design defects.
On many of the mugs, the imperfection is marked by a black pen. This comes off when you wipe it.

Grey mug
The grey mug had a slight mark, I only knew it was there because there was a black mark next to it. This comes off easily - once you have wiped it off the mug looks perfect . I will definitely buy another seconds mug. Good value for money .
